Welcome to Boulevard

Boulevard has been a dream of mine for a while now. I have become so attached to my work and my clients at Heather Fritz Photography that I wanted to expand what only one person couldn't do by herself. I wanted to provide the same great customer service, personal attention and amazing photography to more people. Our little project grew and now we will be opening a studio/store in the Shops at Waterloo Town Square at 75 King Street South, Waterloo, ON. We are geared up to open in the middle of September 2007.

There is so much we can do for you:

Wedding Portraiture: 5 hand selected, talented photographers will have their work displayed on site. Our weddings coordinator will help you choose the photographer that is the best fit for you and your special day. A private meeting lounge is set aside for our engaged couples to meet with their photographer, plan with the weddings coordinator and view their own lovely wedding day captured in photos. An extensive array of albums, cards, invitations and frames will be at your finger tips and we'll help you design the best display of your portraits possible.

check back soon and I will post a selection of images from some of the exquisite weddings we've covered for this year.)
Fine Things: I'm pretty excited about our "fine things"! As well as a huge selection of gorgeous ready-made frames and albums, we will be featuring beautiful lines of custom framing and album products. Aside from that we are bringing in a luxurious spa line, soft and cuddly baby products, hot luggage that will inspire travel to exotic lands, haute couture camera bags for the enthusiast and professional female photographer and dozens of gift items to enhance and beautify your life. So many of these great products will be available to be made into custom gift baskets and packages with a gift certificate for portraits tucked right in!

Plus, acclaimed jewelry designer, Gay Isber, has created an exclusive line of bridal jewelry for us. If you don't want to wear the same crystals that everyone else is at your wedding, check out these spectacular creations made with antique beads and pearls. We are also carrying a tonne of her non-bridal Sugar Beads that I can't seem to go anywhere without! We'll even custom design for you (and your wedding party).

Fine Things on-line: We know you are busy...so shop us on-line! Most of our items will be available on-line and quickly shipped right to your front door.

Studio: Our studio operates a little differently than many out there. We've taken everything we've ever wanted our own personal portrait experiences to be and included them in the "Boulevard Experience". 45 minute sessions for your wee ones to get used to us, a huge selection of props and ideas to enhance the personalty of your child or family, private setting for your "belly" (a.k.a maternity) shoot, on-site washroom and an enclosed play area to keep your wee ones amused while you select re-prints and enlargements with your photographer.

Workshops: For the enthusiast and the professional. We have teamed up with the talented wedding photojournalist and Photoshop guru, Ralph Heinze amongst other pros to create a dynamic series of compelling workshops to help develop and stretch your skills. While the schedule isn't hammered in stone yet, we expect to announce the dates in September for our January sessions. Check back often because spaces will be limited and we expect many sessions to sell-out immediately. For the hobbyist we are offering such classes as "How to take better photos of your kids", "Better travel photography", "How to shoot like a pro with your point-and-shoot-camera". For the pros we are working on advanced lighting and Photoshop programs. Check back often as the site develops and the studio comes to life. We are in the middle of construction right now but if you call 519.503.7744, we are taking studio bookings for the end of September. Remember, Christmas is just around the corner and we can help you design the most unique Christmas cards you've ever sent out.

I can't wait to see you in the shop and studio in September so that I can personally greet you with a heartfelt: "Welcome to Boulevard".
